Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On March 31st, a press conference promoting the 2025 Spring Yunnan Cultural Tourism theme, "There's a Life Called Yunnan: Spring Flowers, Tea, and Coffee," was held at Chayun Park in Changning County, Baoshan City.

Spring in Yunnan is filled with the fragrance of tea, coffee, and flowers. Yunnan, with its vibrant spring scenery, ushered in a year-round experience of blissful living in Yunnan. From January to February of this year, Yunnan received 132 million tourists, generating total tourism spending of 220.994 billion yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 9.6% and 4.2%, respectively. Of these, 40.8183 million tourists visited during the Spring Festival holiday, generating 54.466 billion yuan in tourism spending.

Rao Xiangbi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, vividly interpreted the 2025 Spring Festival theme at the press conference. The "Spring" in "Spring Flower Tea and Coffee" represents a flowing feast, an unfolding scroll; the "Flower" refers to the "fragrant industry" and also symbolizes "a happy life"; "Tea" and "Coffee" are the twin treasures of the Yunnan-Guizhou region and the benchmark for "green food brands." "Spring Flower Tea and Coffee" is not only a fusion of the cultural and tourism industries, but also a concrete practice of Yunnan's cultural and tourism system, vividly interpreting the multi-faceted concept of "There is a Life Called Yunnan," and creating a new era for cultural and tourism development.

Yunnan coffee is gaining popularity, and its reputation continues to rise. According to statistics, in 2024, Yunnan Province had 1.267 million mu (approximately 1.267 million mu) of coffee planting area and 146,000 tons of production, both accounting for over 98% of the national total, firmly securing its position as China's leading coffee producer. Yunnan's small-grain coffee, in particular, has increasingly gained widespread recognition and acclaim in recent years. Well-known brands such as Starbucks, Nestlé, and Luckin Coffee have launched Yunnan coffee bean products.

In addition to Yunnan coffee, Yunnan, known as the "Garden of the World," also produces numerous high-quality Yunnan products, including Yunnan tea and Yunnan flowers. This spring, Yunnan Tourism will focus on the theme of "There's a Life Called Yunnan: Spring Flowers, Tea, and Coffee." The initiative will feature six tourism routes (products) and 60 destinations, including the "Tea, Coffee, and Flower Shadow" tour, the "Tea, Coffee Tracing" tour, the "Tea, Coffee Town" tour, the "Tea, Coffee Study" tour, the "Tea, Coffee Ancient Trail" tour, and the "Tea, Coffee, and Spring Water" tour.

Rao Xiangbi stated that hospitality, with its welcoming bed prepared and shoes opened, is a tradition and hallmark of the Yunnan people. "Clearing the path, awaiting the spring breeze, is all for your arrival." Yunnan not only prepares the finest flowers, tea, and coffee, but more importantly, it diligently maintains its reputation as a tourism destination by daily cleaning its courtyards and constantly improving its environment. In the near future, building on a series of existing rectification measures, policies will be introduced to combat unreasonably low prices, forced shopping, and fostering trustworthiness. If anyone is found organizing unreasonably low-priced tours, forcing customers to shop, or overcharging them, disrupting the order of Yunnan's tourism market and undermining the promising development of Yunnan tourism, they will be dealt with severely and punished without mercy, making the criminals pay a heavy price. We will continue to welcome guests from all over the world with the image of authentic tourism in the colorful southern part of Yunnan, and live up to the expectations of all sectors of society.
