  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – In 2025, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Attapeu Province, Laos, continued to promote the exploration and development of cultural and tourism resources, consolidating the foundation for tourism development. The province attracted over 160,000 tourists throughout the year, generating tourism revenue of 74 billion Lao Kip, and the cultural and tourism industry steadily improved in quality.

  Last year, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Attapeu Province completed the survey, sorting, and registration of 90 tourist attractions. Simultaneously, it demarcated the boundaries and development scope of key cultural and tourism projects such as the Xe Kaman 1 Dam Reservoir and the War Relics Museum, laying a solid foundation for subsequent standardized development. In addition, the department conducted research on distinctive cultural and tourism resources such as the Phu Daeng Cave and the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and launched a franchise bidding process for the development of two major attractions, Tad Xe Pha and Tad Xe Peng Lai, taking multiple measures to activate the potential for cultural and tourism development.

  Tourist data shows that Attapeu Province received 160,067 tourists in 2025, including 31,217 domestic tourists, 91,096 border tourists, and 37,754 international tourists. The diverse tourist groups have driven steady growth in tourism revenue, demonstrating the attractiveness and vitality of the local cultural and tourism resources.
