Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 302nd Battalion Field Artillery Company of the 3rd Brigade of the Lao People's Liberation Army recently conducted its 2025 live-fire exercise in Bokeo Province.
This live-fire training exercise for ground artillery was conducted strictly in accordance with the annual training plan formulated by the 302nd Battalion's Party Committee and Command Committee. The core objective was to improve the combat skills and tactical theory level of officers and soldiers, to master the entire process of artillery operation and professional command, thereby enhancing the overall combat capability of the unit and building a ground artillery force with modern combat capabilities, ensuring the successful completion of all tasks assigned by higher authorities. 120mm howitzers were used during the training, with a range covering 450 to 5500 meters.
The live-fire training was successful, with all preset training objectives achieved and a 100% safety record with no accidents throughout.
