Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 27th, Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province successfully hosted the 2025 Yunnan Blueberry Conference and the Honghe Blueberry Brand Strategy Launch Conference, officially releasing the Honghe Blueberry Regional Public Brand Strategy, marking a new stage of development for the Honghe blueberry industry.

Honghe Prefecture, located on the Tropic of Cancer, is an ecological treasure trove. With its abundant sunshine and diverse climate, it has become one of the world's most suitable regions for blueberry cultivation. In recent years, Honghe Prefecture has actively promoted agricultural and rural modernization and vigorously developed the blueberry industry. Statistics show that in 2024, the total output value of Honghe blueberries exceeded 12 billion yuan, benefiting more than 100,000 people and becoming a truly prosperous industry.

The development of the Honghe blueberry industry embodies the wisdom and hard work of countless individuals. From scattered trials to widespread distribution, from single-product production to full-chain upgrading, Honghe blueberries have achieved a remarkable transformation from being "hidden deep in the mountains" to "selling worldwide." By introducing leading enterprises, establishing cold chain logistics, and cultivating intensive processing, Honghe blueberries have built a complete modern industrial chain. Simultaneously, through various marketing methods such as e-commerce live streaming and domestic and international exhibitions, Honghe blueberries have successfully entered the high-end markets of first-tier cities in China and are exported to overseas markets such as Southeast Asia.

At the press conference, Honghe Prefecture officially launched a new brand image for Honghe blueberries and the slogan "Protect your eyes, eat more Yunnan Honghe blueberries." This brand image and slogan not only embody Honghe's natural endowments and health care but also highlight the quality and characteristics of Honghe blueberries. In the future, Honghe Prefecture will be guided by "large-scale, green, and branded" development, striving to build a leading Yunnan blueberry brand and become China's blueberry industry center and a new global blueberry hub.

To achieve this goal, Honghe Prefecture will strengthen cooperation with research institutions such as the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, Beijing University of Agriculture, and the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, establishing a collaborative innovation mechanism integrating production, education, research, and application, and selecting high-quality varieties with independent intellectual property rights. Meanwhile, the promotion of digital technologies such as intelligent greenhouses and integrated water and fertilizer management will enable full traceability from field to consumer, ensuring that every Honghe blueberry is a "premium guarantee."

Furthermore, Honghe Prefecture will adhere to the concept of green development, strictly regulate the use of pesticides and fertilizers, promote organic farming models, and actively create a demonstration zone integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism, allowing tourists to experience the joy of blueberry picking and feel the ecological charm of Honghe.

The growth of Honghe blueberries is inseparable from the strong support of all sectors of society. At the press conference, Honghe Prefecture issued an initiative, sincerely inviting global merchants and top research institutions to cooperate deeply with Honghe to jointly build a blueberry industry technology research institution and share innovative development achievements. At the same time, it called on enterprises to participate in rural revitalization in Honghe, promoting the growth and strengthening of the blueberry industry through various farmer-linking models, and achieving simultaneous income increases for both enterprises and farmers.
