Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 26, a meeting to coordinate key tasks of public security organs at the prefecture and city levels in Yunnan Province was held in Kunming. The meeting heard reports from various localities on the implementation of the spirit of the provincial prefecture and city public security bureau chiefs' meeting, analyzed shortcomings and deficiencies, and planned key tasks for the near future. Vice Governor and Director of the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Department, Hu Dapeng, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting emphasized the need to focus on the modernization of public security work, effectively coordinating and integrating the functional system of "provincial-level primary responsibility, city and county-level primary combat, and police station-level primary prevention" with the new policing operation model of "professionalism + mechanism + big data," striving to build a more scientific, efficient, and complete functional system and policing operation model, and accelerating the formation and enhancement of new combat capabilities of public security organs. Greater efforts should be made to solidify basic work, further improve supporting mechanisms, strengthen force integration, enhance big data empowerment, and focus on forming a comprehensive synergy in primary prevention work. A problem-oriented approach should always be maintained, continuously addressing shortcomings, and earnestly implementing the requirements of knowing and fulfilling responsibilities, faithfully fulfilling the mission of safeguarding local peace and protecting high-quality economic and social development. We must consistently uphold high standards, practical requirements, and a rigorous work style throughout the entire process of carrying out our work and ensuring its implementation. Leading cadres must lead by example, teach others, and personally participate to ensure that all tasks are carried out thoroughly and effectively.
Zhang Chunze, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security Department in charge of daily operations, presided over the meeting. Members of the Department's Party Committee in Kunming provided work guidance. Directors of public security bureaus from 16 prefectures and cities delivered speeches, and the Department's Public Security Corps and Science and Technology Information Corps reported on key tasks. Principal leaders of all units directly under the Department and directors of offices from the 16 prefectures and cities' public security bureaus attended the meeting.
