Li Jun, former director of the Water Ecological Environment Division of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.
According to the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed in the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Sansui County Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision: With the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed in the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Sansui County Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision have filed a case for investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Li Jun, former director of the Water Ecological Environment Division of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment.
The investigation revealed that Li Jun lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, and resisted organizational review; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepted gifts and money that could affect the impartial performance of his official duties; he failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity, used his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting and payment of project funds, and illegally accepted huge amounts of money and property.
Li Jun seriously violated the Party's political discipline and integrity discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making his actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the *Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China*, the *Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China*, and the *Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials*, the Party Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment decided to expel Li Jun from the Party; the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed at the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development decided to dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains were confiscated; and his suspected crimes were transferred to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution, with all related assets transferred as well.
Ye Bin, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Qiannan Prefecture Public Security Bureau, was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.
According to the Qiannan Prefecture Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision: With the approval of the Qiannan Prefecture Party Committee, the Qiannan Prefecture Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision initiated an investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Ye Bin, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Qiannan Prefecture Public Security Bureau.
An investigation revealed that Ye Bin had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, and resisted organizational review; violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation by accepting gifts and money that could influence the impartial performance of his duties, and accepted banquets that could influence the impartial performance of his duties; violated organizational principles by seeking benefits for others and accepting bribes in cadre selection and appointment; breached the bottom line of integrity by engaging in illegal business activities and profit-making activities, and using his power to seek benefits for others and accepting bribes; failed to properly perform his duties, leaked work secrets and caused adverse effects; and used public power as a tool to seize personal gain, engaging in large-scale power-for-money transactions, using his position to seek benefits for others in business contracting approvals and project payment, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money.
Ye Bin seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, demonstrating the egregious nature and serious circumstances of his actions, and should be severely punished. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials", and upon approval by the Standing Committee of the Qiannan Prefecture Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Qiannan Prefecture Party Committee, it was decided to expel Ye Bin from the Party; the Qiannan Prefecture Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, with all related assets transferred as well.
