Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – With the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Kuang Shunhang, former Party Secretary and Director of the Guizhou Provincial National Defense Mobilization Office, former Director of the Guizhou Provincial People's Air Defense Office, and former Party Member and Deputy Director (concurrently) of the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
The investigation revealed that Kuang Shunhang had lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original aspirations and mission, and resisted organizational review; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepting banquets that could affect the impartial performance of his official duties; violated organizational principles, improperly seeking personnel benefits for others and accepting bribes; violated national laws and regulations, engaging in gambling; and used public power as a tool to seize personal gain, engaging in large-scale power-for-money transactions, using his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting and project payment, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money.
Kuang Shunhang seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, indicating the serious nature and adverse impact of his actions, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials", and upon approval by the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, it was decided to expel Kuang Shunhang from the Party; the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, with all related assets transferred as well.
