Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – With the approval of the CPC Central Committee, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission have filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Wu Shenghua, former alternate member of the 20th CPC Central Committee, former Standing Committee member of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, and former Secretary of the Bijie Municipal Party Committee.
The investigation revealed that Wu Shenghua had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, failed to effectively implement the CPC Central Committee's major decisions and deployments on preventing and resolving local debt risks, failed to fulfill his primary responsibility for comprehensively and strictly governing the Party, associated with political swindlers, engaged in superstitious activities, and resisted organizational review; violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the CPC Central Committee by accepting banquets that could affect the impartial performance of his official duties, and improperly allocated and used official vehicles; violated organizational principles by failing to report personal matters as required, and sought benefits for others in cadre selection and appointment while accepting bribes; breached the bottom line of integrity by improperly accepting gifts and money; lacked a sense of responsibility and was lazy and negligent in his duties; and abused his position to seek benefits for others in mineral resource development approvals and engineering project contracting, illegally accepting huge amounts of money.
Wu Shenghua seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making his actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and review by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, it was decided to expel Wu Shenghua from the Party; the National Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his qualifications as a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 13th Guizhou Provincial Party Congress will be terminated; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well. The decision to expel him from the Party will be ratified at the next plenary session of the Central Committee.
