Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – To comprehensively improve Yunnan Province's ability to handle tourism-related complaints, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists, and protect Yunnan's prestigious tourism brand, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Issuing the 'Yunnan Province Tourism Service Improvement and Tourism Market Order Rectification Third 100-Day Action Plan'," the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism launched its third 100-day campaign in Kunming from February 17th to March 1st, focusing on handling tourism complaints and conducting joint case-handling.

On the morning of February 17th, a work deployment meeting was successfully held. The meeting reported relevant data on tourism-related complaints in Yunnan Province and Kunming City and made work arrangements.

The meeting emphasized that this work on handling tourism complaints and conducting joint case-handling serves as both a training ground for improving the quality and efficiency of Yunnan Province's tourism services and a practical training ground for handling tourism-related complaints. All trainees should aim to improve their own capabilities and resolve a number of tourism-related complaints, taking initiative and creating a positive atmosphere of learning from and surpassing each other, closely adhering to the objectives and tasks to ensure effective results.

This concentrated work on handling tourism complaints and conducting joint case-handling emphasizes both teaching and practical training. On the one hand, instructors and experts in tourism complaint handling, case management, and public opinion management were selected from the province's pool of qualified instructors to provide training, organizing participants to thoroughly study relevant laws, regulations, policy documents, and professional knowledge related to tourism complaint handling. On the other hand, all trainees will work in groups to handle complaints, while also identifying leads from tourism-related complaints and public opinion, organizing joint investigations, and cooperating with relevant departments in Kunming to conduct on-site investigations, collect evidence, and handle relevant tourism cases in accordance with laws and regulations.

Currently, trainees from seven relevant cities and prefectures, including Kunming, Qujing, and Baoshan, have completed their group work and are about to fully engage in tourism complaint handling and joint case handling, contributing to the healthy and orderly development of Yunnan's tourism market.
