Yunnan welcomes tourism boom during National Day holiday

  According to Ctrip statistics, the most popular scenic spots in Yunnan during the National Day holiday were Wild Elephant Valley, Pudacuo National Park, Manting Park, Lugu Lake, and Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La section).

  Wild Elephant Valley, located within the Mengyangzi Nature Reserve of Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve and a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve, is China's first national park themed on animal and environmental protection. Here, visitors can interact closely with Asian elephants, experience the charm of the tropical rainforest, and, if lucky, even spot wild elephant herds.
