While promoting the upgraded construction of border happy villages, Yunnan Province innovatively launched a three-year action plan (2025-2027) for the construction of the "New Era Civilization Practice Belt for Prospering Yunnan and Enriching the Border Areas" in March of this year.
This action aims to build a "golden line" of New Era Civilization Practice along a 4,060-kilometer border, radiating from Kunming City and 8 border prefectures (cities), 25 border counties, and 374 border administrative villages, encompassing 28 ports. This line will connect airports, railways, highways, and waterways ("four corridors"), extending to multiple points interwoven with port clusters and digital matrices, thus constructing a "one-line, four-corridor, multi-point, and expanded" pattern of civilization practice.
Currently, Yunnan Province is making solid progress in its development, focusing on the tasks of "Revitalizing Yunnan" and the special mission of "Enriching the Border Areas." The event released five major action plans for "Revitalizing Yunnan and Enriching the Border Areas." According to the plans, Yunnan Province will implement the "National Gate Propaganda" Lighthouse Action, the "Precise Delivery" Co-construction Action, the "Artistic Enhancement" Assistance Action, the "Cultural Benefits for the People" Quality Improvement Action, and the "Passing on the Torch" Empowerment Action.
