  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) reports that the assemblies of various regions, states, and regions in Myanmar recently held routine meetings to review the nominations of key officials, including ministers, prosecutors, auditors, and high court officials. All personnel appointment and removal procedures are proceeding smoothly and in accordance with regulations.

  The Speaker of the Kachin State Parliament announced that candidates for state-level ministers, prosecutors, and auditors are nominated by the elected Chief Minister, while the Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court are nominated by the President. Parliamentary representatives who have objections to nominations must submit their names for review.

  The Speaker of the Kayah State Parliament requested parliamentary approval for the following: the nominations of the elected Chief Minister for State Prosecutor and Auditor, and the nominations of the President for the Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court, as well as the nominations of state-level Burmese ministers.

  The Kayin State Parliament unanimously approved the nominations of the Chief Minister-elect U Soe Min Oo for state ministers, prosecutors, and auditors, as well as the nominations of the President for the Chief Justice and two judges of the State High Court. All nominations were accepted without objection.

  The Chin State Parliament approved the nominations of the Chief Minister for State Attorney General and Auditor General, and the President for the Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court; the Speaker announced that the qualifications and abilities of the seven nominated ministers would be reviewed at the fifth session.

  The Sagaing Region Parliament approved the nominations of the Chief Minister for State Ministers, State Attorney General, and Auditor General, and the President for the Chief Justice and three judges of the State High Court; four members of the State Legislative Assembly discussed expanding the size of the State Cabinet.

  The Tanintharyi Region Parliament agreed to appoint eight State Ministers, State Attorney General, Auditor General, Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court; it also approved the establishment of five parliamentary affairs committees.

  The Speaker of the Mandalay Region Parliament submitted the nominations of the Chief Minister for State Ministers, State Attorney General, Auditor General, Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court; members of parliament may submit a list of objections for parliamentary review.

  The Mon State Parliament approved the nominations of the Chief Minister for State Ministers, State Attorney General, and Auditor General, and the President for the Chief Justice and judges of the State High Court.

  Rakhine State Parliament Speaker Dr. Sang Shwe announced the nominees for Chief Justice of the State High Court, Attorney General, Auditor General, and ministers nominated by the elected Chief Minister of Rakhine State, which were unanimously approved by Parliament.

  At the Yangon Parliament session, the nominees for regional ministers, regional high court chief justices and judges, Attorney General, and Auditor General were all approved without objection.

  Shan State Chief Minister-elect Sai Tin Soe (Yakso Township, Second Constituency) submitted his list of nominated ministers, Attorney General, and Auditor General to Parliament; the Speaker submitted the nomination for Chief Justice, and the President nominated three judges for the State High Court; all nominations were approved by Parliament.

  The Ayeyarwady Region Parliament unanimously approved the nominations for seven ministers of the elected Chief Minister of Region, as well as the Region Auditor General and Attorney General; it also approved the President's nominations for the Region High Court Chief Justice and judges.
