The province's consumer market showed a positive trend of "both quantity and quality increasing, and vitality bursting forth." According to the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, during the Spring Festival holiday, Yunnan's sales of goods and services increased by 8.2% year-on-year, with goods sales increasing by 5.7% and service sales increasing by 9.5%.

  Precise Policy Packages Boost Consumption Potential

  During the Spring Festival, Yunnan launched a "trade-in + Yunnan consumer vouchers + prize-winning invoices" policy, leveraging multiple benefits from "bank subsidies + platform empowerment + corporate discounts," injecting strong momentum into the Spring Festival consumer market. As of February 23, the number of applications for trade-in subsidies for automobiles, home appliances, and digital products, and the direct consumption amount driven by these subsidies increased by 53.7% and 84.4% year-on-year, respectively. Among them, the number of applications for subsidies for digital and smart products and the amount of consumption directly driven by them increased by 68.7% and 68.6% year-on-year, respectively.

  Focusing on core consumption scenarios such as retail, accommodation, catering, automobiles, and e-commerce, Yunnan issued over 700,000 consumer vouchers, including vouchers for automobiles, food, accommodation, and goods, and e-commerce vouchers, driving consumption exceeding 100 million yuan. Around eight major livelihood scenarios such as retail, catering, and cultural tourism, and taking the pilot program of prize-winning invoices in Kunming as a key focus, prize-winning invoice activities were launched simultaneously in 16 cities and prefectures across the province.   Data shows that sales of residential services in Yunnan Province increased by 6.6% year-on-year during the Spring Festival. The "2026 Yunnan Online New Year's Goods Festival" was launched, establishing "Yunnan New Year's Goods Zones" on e-commerce platforms and distributing Yunnan e-commerce vouchers, forming a collaborative framework of "provincial main event + city/prefecture sub-events + platform's massive traffic."

  The "Happy New Year, Yunnan Gifts" flower and blueberry New Year's goods festival saw the "One Blueberry, Taste Yunnan" fresh gift box become a hit online, and seasonal flower gifts for both Spring Festival and Valentine's Day became top sellers in live-streaming rooms. Daily shipments of flowers and blueberries reached 1.2 million and 350,000 pieces respectively.
