Indonesia and Brazil promote aviation cooperation

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Indonesia's Indonesian Aerospace Company (DI) and Embraer recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to further expand cooperation in the commercial space sector.

  DI's General Manager, Gita Amperiawan, stated that according to the MOU, the two companies will conduct a joint study to evaluate cooperation opportunities in the commercial aerospace sector, particularly in aerospace technology and structures. This cooperation framework is based on rigorous commercial and technical standards, ensuring alignment with best practices for industry and commercial objectives.

  This is an important document for strengthening aerospace cooperation between Indonesia and Brazil, while encouraging technological innovation and industrial partnerships in developing countries.

  Rodrigo Silva e Souza, Vice President of Marketing at Embraer, commented that Indonesia is one of the world's fastest-growing aviation markets and sees this as an opportunity for bilateral business cooperation, enhancing Indonesia's aerospace capabilities and expanding domestic aviation connections.

  Currently, the Indonesian Air Force operates a fleet of A-29 Super Tucano aircraft manufactured by Embraer. (End)
