Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government's Health and Medical Services Bureau recently stated that following the fire at Hung Fuk Court in Tai Po, the HKSAR Government is using district health centers across all 18 districts of Hong Kong as hubs to coordinate and manage primary healthcare services for affected residents. The Health and Medical Services Bureau will continue to provide comprehensive primary healthcare support to residents affected by the fire, and will design relevant service processes from the residents' perspective, allowing them to obtain convenient and effective medical support simply through the health centers.

According to reports, all residents of the eight buildings in Hung Fuk Court are eligible for a full medical expense waiver until December 31st of this year. This covers inpatient services, family medicine and specialist outpatient clinics (including psychiatric outpatient clinics), emergency rooms, day hospitals, day programs, community services, and Chinese medicine clinics and research centers under the Hospital Authority. Furthermore, all injured individuals admitted to public hospitals under the Hospital Authority due to injuries sustained in the fire will have their medical services (including medications and medical devices) waived throughout their treatment and rehabilitation process. The Primary Care Department has coordinated with health centers in all 18 districts of Hong Kong to set up a hotline on December 1 last year to arrange personalized case management services for affected residents and provide more convenient and comprehensive medical support.
