To support Hong Kong's better integration into the overall development of the country, strengthen practical ties between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, build a bridge for government-business exchanges, and help Hong Kong enterprises and residents expand their development space in the mainland, the Qianhai Authority specially invited ten newly elected Hong Kong Legislative Council members to visit and discuss cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. During the event, both sides reached preliminary agreements on establishing a regular communication mechanism, cooperation in emerging industries, and attracting Hong Kong youth to innovate and start businesses.

At the "Hong Kong Legislative Council Members' Qianhai Symposium," the Qianhai Authority stated that Qianhai has always focused on Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation as its core theme, achieving positive results in expanding Hong Kong's development space. By the end of 2025, over 11,000 Hong Kong-funded enterprises will be registered, and the scale of Hong Kong residents' employment and residence will continue to expand, making it the "first stop" and "preferred destination" for Hong Kong enterprises and residents developing in the mainland.

At the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as Shenzhen-Hong Kong financial industry collaboration, cultural, sports and tourism exchanges, legal services, education, and youth development. The legislators offered suggestions based on their own experiences, expressing their commitment to actively promoting the development opportunities and cooperation potential of Qianhai, encouraging more Hong Kong enterprises and professionals to participate in Qianhai's development, and injecting strong momentum into Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation.

Subsequently, the legislators visited Qianhai Stone Park, the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub, and Qianhai Building 5, among other locations. They also conducted an on-site inspection of WeBank, gaining a detailed understanding of Qianhai's development history, planning layout, and the progress of key Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation projects, immersing themselves in the innovative power of Shenzhen's technology industry.
