
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, leaders from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) met with Mr. Li Dianchun, Executive Vice President of Hong Kong Airlines. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on important topics such as deepening bilateral cooperation and promoting sustainable development in the aviation sector.
Mr. Do Hong Kim, Deputy Director General of the CAAV, highly praised Hong Kong Airlines' positive contributions to Vietnam's civil aviation industry and socio-economic development over the years, and commended the strong cooperative relationship maintained between Hong Kong Airlines and its Vietnamese partners. Deputy Director General Do Hong Kim also encouraged Hong Kong Airlines to continue expanding its route network between Hong Kong and key cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc Island to meet the growing demand for air travel.
Mr. Li Dianchun stated that in recent years, the Vietnamese aviation market has shown strong growth momentum, and aviation infrastructure construction has also progressed steadily, such as the construction of the new terminal in Hanoi and the implementation of several airport projects. He emphasized that Vietnam is one of the most promising markets in Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong Airlines attaches great importance to its business development in Vietnam and will continue to deepen its strategic presence there. Mr. Li Dianchun also expressed his sincere gratitude to the CAAV for its long-term strong support and assistance.
Both sides also discussed cooperation prospects for key projects such as Long Thanh International Airport and Gia Binh Airport, agreeing that the advancement of these strategic projects will help further improve Vietnam's aviation infrastructure and significantly enhance regional connectivity.
This meeting further consolidated the long-standing partnership between Hong Kong Airlines and Vietnam's civil aviation sector, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in broader areas and at deeper levels.
