Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 28th, the Hong Kong Jockey Club's "Star Development Project" officially launched. Ariel Tsang, a new member of the international pop music group Now United Hong Kong, made her official debut and performed on stage with the other members, showcasing the potential of Hong Kong's new generation.
In May of this year, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) announced a strategic partnership with international entertainment brand XIX Entertainment (XIX) to launch the "Star Development Project." This initiative invited the international pop music group Now United to Hong Kong and initiated a new member selection process, providing local young musical talents with opportunities to reach the world stage.
Ho Tak-yang, Executive Director of Customer Strategy, Experience and Innovation at the HKJC, pointed out that the strategic collaboration between the HKJC and XIX is steadily moving towards the vision of becoming a global sports and entertainment brand, bringing more exciting international-level horse racing and events to the public and tourists. He said the Hong Kong Jockey Club has always been committed to promoting youth development, and this collaboration provides Hong Kong youth with international development opportunities. He looks forward to the new members joining the club further promoting Hong Kong tourism and horse racing to the world.
Hong Kong artist Aaron Kwok has been appointed as the Hong Kong Jockey Club's "Star Ambassador." He stated that the Jockey Club has brought international renown to Hong Kong by hosting world-class horse racing events and has also promoted charitable and community projects both domestically and internationally, fulfilling its commitment to "building a better society." He hopes that this collaboration will encourage young people to bravely pursue their dreams, showcase their passion for music and dance on the international stage, and let their talents shine uniquely on the world stage.
Regarding the connection between Now United and Hong Kong, XIX founder Simon Fuller believes the two complement each other perfectly. He expects the new members from Hong Kong to shine on the international stage with their optimistic and resilient spirit.
It is understood that Now United will embark on a world tour in November this year and return to Hong Kong for their official performance in December. Hong Kong residents and tourists will be able to enjoy live performances by Now United at the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s two racecourses, as well as at the Longines Hong Kong International Races in December this year.
