The festival, themed "Experiencing Traditional Weddings Around the World," attracted enthusiastic participation from diplomatic missions, international organizations, and the expatriate community living, studying, and working in South Korea, establishing a diverse, inclusive, and consensus-building international cultural exchange platform.

  According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in South Korea, Seongnam Deputy Mayor An Quang Lam stated in his opening remarks that people-to-people exchanges and cultural cooperation are important links for enhancing mutual understanding and deepening friendship among nations. He emphasized that Seongnam, as a vibrant and multicultural city, always cherishes the core values ​​of openness, inclusiveness, integration, and harmonious development, and is committed to creating a high-quality space for exchange and mutual learning for the international community.

  In her address, Nguyen Thi Thai Binh, Minister-Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea, stated that the Seongnam Global Culture Festival is not only a rich and diverse cultural feast, but also a bridge connecting different countries and ethnic groups through music, food, traditional costumes, and unique cultural stories. She noted the strong momentum of the Vietnam-South Korea comprehensive strategic partnership, with people-to-people exchanges and cultural interactions continuing to play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding. Currently, the Vietnamese community in South Korea exceeds 350,000, deeply integrated into local society, and making tangible contributions to South Korea's development and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

  At the event, the Vietnamese booth, jointly organized by the Seongnam Vietnamese Bride Association and Vietnamese students, became a highlight, attracting many visitors. The booth featured traditional Vietnamese art performances, uniquely crafted cultural products, and authentic and delicious local cuisine, leaving a deep and positive impression on international guests and local residents alike.
