Born in Yunnan, China in 1958, Yang Liping is one of Asia's most influential dance artists. She is world-renowned for her exquisite peacock dance performances and is respectfully called the "Peacock Princess." This classic dance image has not only created her artistic legend but also embodied the unique temperament of her artistic style—elegant, graceful, yet possessing immense inner power. For over fifty years, Yang Liping has dedicated herself to the art of dance, relentlessly pursuing excellence and becoming a symbolic figure in Eastern dance. Through thousands of performances in more than 50 countries worldwide, she has propelled Chinese dance to the center of the world stage, captivating the global audience with the charm of Eastern dance.

"Peacock," a classic stage art IP created by Yang Liping, premiered in 2012 and underwent a major revival and upgrade in 2022. To date, it has successfully completed its 700th performance worldwide, garnering high praise from countless audiences and industry professionals both domestically and internationally. The entire performance is structured in four chapters: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. It revolves around the themes of life's growth, the essence of humanity, the perseverance of survival, and the purity of love, vividly showcasing the beautiful vision of harmonious coexistence between life and nature. Using exquisite stage art as a medium, the work leads the audience on a journey of exploration imbued with divine will, profoundly questioning the true meaning of humanity and life, reflecting the sincere humanistic emotions arising from the fusion of life and art, and possessing both intellectual depth and artistic beauty.

Wu Huangfu, representative of the Vietnam VietArt company, the organizer of this performance, introduced that the production brought together nearly 70 outstanding Chinese dancers and technicians. All stage equipment, props, and costumes were transported to Vietnam strictly according to the original standards, striving to fully restore the artistic essence of the work.
