Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the evening of December 18th, the 2nd China Film Producers Honors Ceremony was held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou. (Photo provided by the Organizing Committee) That evening, the announcement of the "Top Ten Chinese Film Producers" became the focus of the entire event. This honor focuses on outstanding domestic films released between November 2024 and November 2025, comprehensively considering the films' box office performance, critical acclaim, and the producer's core contributions, ultimately selecting ten outstanding producers and their corresponding films from numerous excellent works.

The ten outstanding productions selected this year are diverse in subject matter and distinct in style: *Ne Zha* and *The Little Monster of Langlang Mountain*, with their extraordinary imagination and exquisite production, have become new benchmarks for the rise of Chinese animation; *Detective Chinatown 1900* has gained widespread recognition for its mature IP core and innovative narrative; *Chasing the Shadows* pioneers a new expression in the action genre, while *Operation Jiaolong* showcases hardcore industrial standards; *Nanjing Photo Studio*, *731*, and *Dongji Island* delve into historical memory and convey patriotism; *Little Me* focuses on the glimmer of light in the lives of ordinary individuals, while *The Lychee of Chang'an* reflects contemporary strivers through an ancient workplace story. These works, with their delicate touch and profound humanistic warmth, evoke strong emotional resonance from audiences.

Zhuang Yan, Chairman of Changchun Film Group, Zhao Fang, Senior Vice President of iQiyi, Li Yaping, CEO of Guangdong Aimei Film & Television, Yu Dong, Founder of Bona Film Group, and Liang Jing, Chairman of Beijing Seven Impressions Culture, who received the "Top Ten Chinese Film Producers" award, shared their creative experiences at the ceremony, interpreting the responsibility and mission of film creation from different perspectives.

As the chief planner of "Chasing the Wind and Shadows," Zhao Fang specifically mentioned the strong film and television incubation capabilities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, praising the increasingly mature film and television support services there, and expressing consideration for future film projects to be shot and produced in Guangzhou.

This year's ceremony featured a new "New Film Recommendation" segment for the first time, showcasing three brand-new works—the documentary film "Chinese White Dolphin," the suspenseful crime film "Hidden Assassination," and the New Year's film "A Place to Use One's Skills." The creative teams took turns sharing behind-the-scenes stories from their respective productions.

"Chinese White Dolphin," through the perspective of the film crew and researchers tracing migration routes, authentically presents the moving journey of this rare species, temporarily leaving its home due to the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and ultimately returning to its ancestral land. "Hidden Assassination," directed by Ke Wenli and created by the original team behind "Silent Killing," focuses on the theme of "punishing evil and promoting good." "A Place to Use One's Skills," directed by Shen Ao, produced by Ning Hao, and starring Xiao Yang, Qi Xi, Simon Yam, and Zheng Kai, will be officially released on December 31st. (End)
