Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On December 16th, the Vietnam Writers' Association Publishing House held a launch event in Hanoi for the publication of two bilingual poetry collections: *Under the Olive Tree*, by Nguyen Quang Thao, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association, and *Mulad's Stone*, by Murad, Chairman of the Palestinian Writers' Association.

The event attracted diplomats from Palestine, Morocco, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and Egypt, as well as numerous domestic and international writers, poets, researchers, and literature enthusiasts.

*Under the Olive Tree* compiles poems written by poet Nguyen Quang Thao in May 2023 after visiting the war-torn Palestinian land with other Vietnamese writers. The collection is a prayer for peace, calling for the awakening of humanity to ignite hope, and praying for the Palestinian people to enjoy the freedom and happiness they deserve.

*Mulad's Stone*, written in November 2023, is set against the backdrop of the unforgettable Palestinian reality. His poetry originates from the heart of every Palestinian, from every eye yearning for survival and freedom. This collection carries all the sorrow and enduring longing within a Palestinian's heart.

Tran Dang Ko, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association, stated that the poetry of Nguyen Quang Thao and Murad Sudani transcends geographical boundaries and linguistic differences, directly touching upon universal human emotions through pain, compassion, and profound humanistic spirit. The convergence of the two collections lies in their shared humanistic spirit and the authors' sense of responsibility.

At the press conference, Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama stated that in Nguyen Quang Thao's work, "Under the Olive Tree," one can clearly feel the deep friendship of the Vietnamese people towards the Palestinian people, and also see the pervasive yearning for peace, independence, and freedom on Vietnamese soil.
