Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 4th "Fragrance Remains" National Art Exhibition, hosted by the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), the China Artists Association, and the National Art Museum of China, and organized by the RCCK Central Academy of Painting and the RCCK Shandong Provincial Committee, opened on the 12th at Zhonggong Shanghai Street in Jinan, Shandong Province. The opening ceremony of the "RCCK Central Academy of Painting Shandong Exhibition Center" was also held simultaneously. Guests from all walks of life, art enthusiasts, and local residents gathered in the exhibition hall to admire the paintings.
Inside the exhibition hall, over 60 works were displayed on the walls, encompassing both oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings. About half of the works were by Shandong painters. These paintings ranged from delicately detailed depictions of people's peaceful lives to excellent works portraying military life and industrial landscapes.
Viewers paused to gaze intently, appreciating the artistic conception and ideological content of the works. They frequently took out their phones to photograph the masterpieces and quietly discussed them with their companions, creating a rich atmosphere of art appreciation.
Kong Weike, director of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) Painting Academy, introduced the "Fragrance Remains" exhibition as one of the academy's three major exhibition brands and its most influential academic brand, held biennially at the National Art Museum of China. The fourth exhibition, after touring several cities, concluded its run in Shandong, coinciding with the establishment of the Shandong Exhibition Center. "These works are of exquisite quality, representing a high level of art creation nationwide. They are rich and diverse in subject matter, collectively promoting the main theme of the times and demonstrating the responsibility of the art community to contribute to the great cause of national rejuvenation through art." Regarding the significance of establishing the RCCK Central Committee Painting Academy Shandong Exhibition Center, Kong Weike pointed out that the center is an important platform for the prosperity and development of the art world. It aims to promote connections within and outside the Party, as well as exchanges between RCCK member painters and other painters, to jointly study creative principles, and to promote outstanding works and talents that are profound in thought, exquisite in art, and highly aesthetically pleasing. "Good works must meet the standard of 'expert approval and public applause,' possessing both outstanding ideological content and exquisite artistry, widely loved by the public, truly achieving widespread recognition, dissemination, and lasting impact."
Kong Weike stated that the Shandong Exhibition Center of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) Painting Academy is located in Zhonggong Street, a mountainous area in southern Jinan. Known as Jinan's "Southern Garden," this area boasts not only ancient buildings with profound historical significance, such as the Four Gates Pagoda, but also beautiful scenery like Red Leaf Valley and Jinxiuchuan Reservoir, combining natural beauty with historical charm, making it ideal for art creation and exhibitions. The surrounding area has formed a unique art street, gathering numerous artist studios, exhibition halls, and teaching venues, combining artistry with a vibrant atmosphere. (End)
