  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) November 8th – The 26th Guangdong International Sporting Goods Fair and the 22nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao International Sporting Goods Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Sports Fair") officially opened in Area C of the Guangzhou Canton Fair Complex. At the opening ceremony, representatives from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Sports Events and Activities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (2026)".

  It is understood that this year's Sports Fair is themed "Working Together for Sports in the Greater Bay Area". For many years, this exhibition, uniting Hong Kong and Macao and based in South China, has become the largest and most influential brand sports exhibition in South China.

  Cui Jian, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, stated that next year marks the beginning of the "15th Five-Year Plan," and Guangdong will enter a crucial decade in building a high-level sports powerhouse. Facing unprecedented opportunities, Guangdong will proactively seize favorable moments, leverage its strengths, address its weaknesses, expand its space, and tap its potential. Efforts will be focused on promoting the transformation and upgrading of the sports industry, empowering innovation, and building brands. Efforts will also be made to promote the integration and mutual promotion of sports with various fields, so as to better empower Guangdong's high-quality economic and social development through the strength of sports.

  It is understood that this year's Sports Expo covers an area of ​​21,000 square meters, bringing together more than 80 sports brands and institutions. The exhibits cover multiple fields including sports venue equipment and materials, fitness equipment, sporting goods, digital sports, and historical materials. The exhibition features four core exhibition areas and two special zones. The four core exhibition areas are the "Sports Achievements Exhibition Area," "Fitness Equipment and Nutrition Products Exhibition Area," "Sports Venue Equipment and Construction Exhibition Area," and "Association Showcase Exhibition Area." The two special exhibition areas are the "15th National Games Licensed Merchandise Zone" and the "Multi-Interactive Events and Experience Zone."

  It is reported that this year's Sports Expo features a special multi-interactive events and experience zone, aiming to shift the audience from "watching" to "participating." In addition, this year's Sports Expo also established a high-end and professional industry exchange platform, invited a Southeast Asian purchasing delegation to strengthen international trade links, and attracted a large number of sports enthusiasts.

  It is understood that the expo will also host several conferences and events concurrently, including the "Guangdong Sports Industry Development Forum" and the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Children's Sports Exchange Seminar." (End)
