During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the recent situation on the Thai-Cambodian border, focusing on the implementation of the ceasefire arrangement and potential follow-up measures. Saleum Charonsuwan reiterated Thailand's position, clearly stating that it will maintain the border ceasefire and promote stability through bilateral communication and ASEAN-led multilateral processes, emphasizing Thailand's firm commitment to peacefully resolving disputes. He also stated that Thailand is willing to deepen cooperation with international partners to help achieve lasting peace and stability in the border region by building mutual trust and easing tensions.
