
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, an international conference on combating global telecom fraud was held in Bangkok, Thailand, with China Media Group (CMG) participating in the relevant agenda. The conference's core purpose was to call on the international community to accelerate coordination and cooperation to jointly address the increasingly serious problem of telecom fraud.
This high-level and broad-ranging conference, co-hosted by the Thai government and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), attracted more than 330 representatives from 60 countries, international organizations, and 5 civil society organizations. Among them, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos all sent ministerial-level representatives, demonstrating the high importance these countries attach to combating transnational telecom fraud.
Thailand's Acting Prime Minister Anothin Saengwirakun stated at the conference that Thailand is willing to deepen cooperation with countries around the world and relevant parties at any time to take pragmatic measures to crack down on telecom fraud crimes globally.
