Myawaddy, Myanmar, continues its crackdown on illegal buildings involved in fraud, with a total of 72 illegal structures

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – A nine-story illegal building involved in fraud in Shwe Kokko, Myawaddy Township, Kayin State, Myanmar, has been completely demolished. The building had long been illegally used for online fraud and gambling. Following this demolition, the total number of illegal buildings involved in fraud in the area has reached 72.

  Local law enforcement agencies conducted a joint special operation targeting two key areas: Shwe Kokko and KK Park. The operation focused on demolishing various illegal structures and destroying a batch of equipment used for telecommunications fraud and online gambling, severely cracking down on illegal activities in the area.

  According to reports, this special operation in Shwe Kokko targeted 77 illegal buildings. To date, 57 have been demolished mechanically, and 20 have been completely demolished using directional blasting. The overall demolition work is progressing smoothly, and the remaining 5 illegal buildings will be demolished at a later date, completely eliminating the existing stock of illegal buildings involved in fraud in the area.
