Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – To accurately identify the development challenges faced by SMEs in Myanmar's tourism industry and facilitate multi-sectoral collaboration, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) plans to hold a special tea party on the development of SMEs in the tourism industry, aiming to help industry players overcome difficulties and achieve stable development.
The tea party's core objectives are to deeply discuss the pain points and difficulties in the operation and development of SMEs in the tourism industry and to deepen cooperation among relevant stakeholders. Previously, the organizers held an online coordination and preparatory meeting on June 24th, comprehensively discussing key issues such as the implementation of industry policies, multi-sectoral collaboration, enterprise capacity building, and special funding support, clarifying the core agenda and working direction of the tea party.
It is understood that this special tea party will be held in two sessions, and the results of the discussions will serve as an important foundation for subsequent industry-specific seminars. Relevant ministries and government officials from Myanmar will participate in the discussions and exchanges, bringing together the wisdom and experience of government and businesses.
Following this, the organizers will systematically review the research findings, industry opinions, and development suggestions from the seminar, compile them into a special report, and submit it to the relevant authorities. This report will provide a reference for the targeted formulation of tourism support policies and the improvement of industry support mechanisms, thereby continuously promoting the long-term healthy development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Myanmar's tourism industry.
