  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Yesterday morning, U Tin Lin, Minister of Information of the Union of Myanmar, visited Mandalay to inspect the government printing plant under the Upper Myanmar Ministry of Printing and Publication. He focused on checking the quality of the printed books and the operational status of key equipment, including the Oriental No. 1 and Oriental No. 2 rotary printing presses, sheet-fed printing presses, perfect binding machines, binding machines, cutting machines, Catalan typesetting machines, copiers, and plate-making machines. He also inspected the management of the raw material warehouse.

  During the inspection, Minister U Tin Lin gave instructions to the printing plant: First, strictly ensure that printing operations meet established standards and quality requirements, especially emphasizing that school textbooks must be durable enough to meet the needs of multiple generations of students; second, strengthen the training of skilled workers to improve the professional level of printing production.

  Subsequently, Minister U Tin Lin visited the construction site of the Mandalay Art Center. Relevant personnel gave a detailed report on the center's construction progress, completed projects, ongoing projects, and future plans. The minister held in-depth discussions with on-site staff regarding specific measures to accelerate project construction, and inquired particularly about the status of funding.
