Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 2026 Inlay Khaungdaing Outstanding Student Camp Honorary Dinner and Closing Ceremony was held yesterday at 6 PM on the lawn of the Khaungdaing Inlay Outstanding Student Camp in Nyaungshwe Township, Kalaw District, Kayin State.
U Thant Maung, Minister of Ethnic Affairs of the Union State, the Chief Minister of Shan State, the Speaker of the Shan State Parliament, the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Military Region, the Deputy Minister of Education, and other officials at all levels, along with outstanding student representatives from the tenth grade (both male and female students), gathered to witness this momentous occasion.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister of Shan State delivered a speech, recognizing the outstanding performance of the students and expressing his high expectations. He then presented crystal trophies and traditional ethnic costumes to the outstanding students and attending officials on behalf of the organizers as souvenirs.
Following the speeches, a student representative spoke on behalf of all the outstanding students, expressing sincere gratitude to the organizers, guests, and staff. The cultural performances were spectacular: students from the Second Basic Education Middle School in Nyaungshwe Township presented carefully choreographed programs, outstanding students from Kachin State performed a Jingpai dance with distinctive ethnic characteristics, outstanding students from Shan State sang their first-prize winning song from the 2019 Taunggyi Hot Air Balloon Festival song competition, and well-known local singers also took to the stage to add to the festivities, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
