Lieutenant General Soe Win oversaw preparations for the 81st anniversary military parade of the Myanmar Armed Forces Day

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Lieutenant General Soe Win, Vice Chairman of the National Security and Peace Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Myanmar, inspected the rehearsals of the various contingents participating in the 81st Armed Forces Day parade on March 27, 2026, at the Naypyidaw parade ground on the evening of March 26th, local time, to ensure the smooth running of the celebrations.

  During the rehearsal, the parade contingents (including a female contingent) composed of seven parade columns of the Myanmar Armed Forces marched in orderly formation from Ditat Square to the parade ground. Accompanied by the rousing music of the Myanmar Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) band and the Myanmar Police Force band, the troops sang military songs, displaying their high morale. Lieutenant General Soe Win's inspection tour was accompanied by several high-ranking military and political officials, including: General Ya Win Oo, Secretary of the National Security and Peace Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Army; General Kyaw Soe Lin, member of the Council and Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Navy and Air Force; General Maung Maung Aye, member of the Council and Minister of Defense; Lieutenant General Phong Myint, member of the Council and Minister of Home Affairs; Admiral Tin Win, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy; General Tun Aung, Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force; Major General Phyo Song Lin, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Preparatory Committee and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Training; senior officers of the General Headquarters; Major General Kit Thai, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Celebrations Management Committee and Commander of the Naypyidaw Command; and other relevant officials. During his inspection, Lieutenant General Soe Win and his delegation focused on key aspects such as the marching order of the participating troops, the arrangement of the VIP seating area, the cavalry company formations, and the arrival procedures of the VIP motorcade. They also reviewed the Myanmar Armed Forces (Air Force) aircraft formation flight drills, the uniform standards of the flag bearers and various companies, the parade flags, the configuration of light weapons and equipment, the quality of the rehearsals by each company, and the preparations of the honorary artillery units. He responded to the work requests of relevant officials on-site and provided guidance on subsequent preparation details.

  It is understood that the upcoming 81st Armed Forces Day parade will feature a complete lineup, consisting of members of the Myanmar Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force), the Myanmar Police Force, a female contingent of the Armed Forces, and special police officers, along with various military vehicles and Air Force aircraft formations, comprehensively showcasing the achievements and spirit of the Myanmar armed forces.
