Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Terrorist organizations such as the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the Myanmar People's Defense Army (PDF) have carried out a series of acts of sabotage, intending to disrupt regional development and government administration, and undermine regional peace and stability. These organizations frequently employ violent means such as planting landmines, bombing roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, launching rockets, and using drones to drop bombs to create disturbances.

On a recent morning, several terrorist organizations jointly used FPV suicide drones to attack Myitkyina Airport and surrounding areas in Pamthi District, Myitkyina City, Kachin State. Myanmar's air defense forces promptly detected and successfully intercepted the incoming drone. The drone did not explode within the airport but crashed near the runway and surrounding area. Security forces subsequently dismantled the explosive devices carried by the drone, ensuring the safety of the public. The attack caused no casualties, and the airport buildings and runway remained undamaged.

Myitkyina Airport is a crucial facility for the transportation of people and goods in the region. Attacks against the airport constitute war crimes in violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law, and have been strongly condemned by the public. Currently, security agencies are working with the public to investigate the terrorists who carried out this brutal act of destruction.
