He stated that Myanmar has always adhered to the one-China policy and cherishes the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries in education, health, energy, infrastructure, and other fields. Key projects of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, such as the Kyaukpyu deep-sea port, oil and gas pipelines, and the Muse-Mandalay railway, are progressing steadily and will bring mutual benefits to both countries. Myanmar remembers China's selfless assistance in earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction in Mandalay and looks forward to further expanding cooperation in various fields with the formation of the new Myanmar government.

Ambassador Ma Jia, in his congratulatory message, pointed out that 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar. The leaders of the two countries have met twice, bilateral trade has increased by 19%, Chinese investment in Myanmar has increased by 230%, over 250,000 Chinese tourists have visited Myanmar, and people-to-people exchanges have become increasingly close. In 2026, China will launch its 15th Five-Year Plan, and Myanmar will also embark on a new journey. Both sides will continue to deepen the building of a community with a shared future and push cooperation to a new level.

At the end of the event, Deputy General Soe Win and Ambassador Ma Jia exchanged commemorative gifts, and Chinese and Myanmar guests took a group photo, bringing the Lunar New Year celebrations to a successful conclusion.
