Myanmar's defense forces delegation attended the closing ceremony of the ASEAN Shooting Championships and visited SAFTI

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – A delegation from the Myanmar Armed Forces, led by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, and Air Force) General Kyaw Soe Lin, recently arrived in Singapore to attend the closing ceremony of the 33rd ASEAN Army Rifle Shooting Competition (33rd AARM). On the afternoon of November 27th, the delegation focused on visiting the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI).

  At the Training Institute, the delegation systematically inspected various military facilities and equipment, including a dedicated urban warfare training area, a simulated training support weapon system for urban warfare, and observed demonstrations of small arms firing, reconnaissance drone flights, and unmanned ground vehicle systems.

  General Kyaw Soe Lin then visited the Training Institute's military exhibition area and participated in novel shooting activities with the army commanders of ASEAN countries and other delegation leaders. During the visit, he also observed an urban warfare simulation exercise – a drill involving the deployment of assault vehicles and unmanned vehicle systems to clear hostile elements from a building.

  During the day's activities, General Kyaw Soe Lin participated in the recreational shooting competition again and attended the closing ceremony of the 33rd ASEAN Army Rifle Shooting Competition. During a break, he warmly met with the Myanmar shooting team members, offering encouragement and taking photos with them. That evening, General Kyaw Soe Lin led the Myanmar Armed Forces delegation to a farewell banquet for the shooting competition, together with the army commanders and delegation leaders from ASEAN countries.
