Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) reports that Hanoi currently has 23 high-quality schools (17 public and 6 private), with plans to add 37 more, bringing the total to 60. This initiative aims to build a leading high-quality education system, implementing Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Action Plan No. 5 of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee.

It is understood that existing high-quality schools have improved their educational quality through improvements in facilities, class size control, and curriculum standards. They have also created a ripple effect through innovative teaching methods, encouraging other public schools to strengthen their application of information technology and student skills development. This also provides parents with more choices and alleviates the pressure on top-tier schools.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training stated that the new schools include 4 kindergartens, 12 primary schools, 13 junior high schools, and 8 senior high schools. Selection strictly adhered to the principles of "having a quality foundation, meeting social needs, not affecting universal education, not blindly expanding, and conforming to school network planning." In the future, high-quality schools will undergo a transformation in their educational development approach, shifting their curriculum from "content-driven" to "open, integrated, and competency-oriented," with a focus on areas such as foreign languages, STEM, digital technology, arts, and sports. Simultaneously, a regular monitoring and honor revocation mechanism will be established to ensure that quality is linked to honors.

This plan has garnered widespread attention from parents, with various sectors believing that it aligns with the growing demand for education. If steadily implemented and supported by comprehensive mechanisms, it will provide students with more high-quality learning opportunities and contribute to the overall improvement of education quality in the capital.
