Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the evening of March 25th, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in conjunction with the Vietnam Youth Talent Development Foundation, solemnly held the 2025 Top Ten Vietnamese Exemplary Youth Commendation Ceremony in Hanoi. In addition to commending the top ten exemplary youths, the event also presented the Most Promising Award to nine outstanding young people to establish role models and promote a spirit of striving.
Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary of the Central Secretariat, and Director of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. Leaders from various ministries and sectors of the Central Committee, as well as leaders of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union, were also present to witness this moment of honor for the youth.
Nguyen Thanh Nghi, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, extended warm congratulations and high praise to all the commended youths. He encouraged Vietnamese youth to continue striving, cultivating their moral character and political awareness, persisting in self-renewal and relentlessly marching towards higher goals; to become disseminators of positive spirit, injecting vitality into the younger generation; to be pioneers in learning, practical work, technological innovation, and skills enhancement, daring to think and act, and being innovative; to proactively step forward for national development and the interests of the nation, shouldering responsibilities to their communities and the country; and to strive to grow into a new generation of Vietnamese youth who are highly skilled, innovative, dedicated, and capable of shaping the future.
The outstanding young people honored this time cover diverse fields, including academic research, culture and arts, entrepreneurship and innovation, national defense and security, sports, labor production, and social services, all of whom have achieved excellent results and made outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Among the notable figures are: Dr. Pham Anh Tuan from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, who was selected as one of the "Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide" based on numerous high-level international publications; Dr. Dang Thi Le Hang from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, who has made significant contributions to the field of biomedical materials research, achieving numerous important research results and invention patents; and Nguyen Chi Dong, Deputy Director of the Data Management Solutions Department of Viettel, a Vietnam military telecommunications group, who has demonstrated outstanding performance in digital technology applications and industrial innovation.
As an important honor for Vietnamese youth, the 2025 Top Ten Vietnamese Exemplary Youth Commendation Ceremony, with its core purpose of "recognizing advanced role models, conveying positive values, and inspiring youthful responsibility," not only establishes exemplary figures for the younger generation who possess both ability and passion and are willing to shoulder heavy responsibilities in national development, but also凝聚 a powerful driving force for young people to dedicate themselves to national construction. It is understood that the award is presented annually on March 26th, the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and has become an important platform for inspiring Vietnamese youth to strive for excellence.
