Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On April 29th, the China-Vietnam Border River Scenic Area Charging Station of China Southern Power Grid officially commenced operation in Dongxing City, Fangchenggang, Guangxi. This charging station, combining fast and slow charging and capable of simultaneously serving 15 vehicles, further improves the public service system for border tourism, making "charging anxiety" a thing of the past for tourists.

The Dongxing China-Vietnam Border River Scenic Area is located at the southwesternmost tip of the Chinese mainland coastline, facing Vietnam's famous Tra Co tourist resort across the sea. It is a core landmark for Dongxing's cross-border tourism and the terminus of National Highways G219 and G228. The "One Boat Tour of Two Countries" project launched last year at the China-Vietnam Border River Scenic Area has been well-received by tourists, further activating new momentum for the integration of border culture and tourism. The Dongxing China-Vietnam Border River Scenic Area Charging Station, invested and constructed by China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Electric Vehicle Service Co., Ltd., is located at the ticket office of the China-Vietnam Border River tour, boasting a significant locational advantage. The charging station is scientifically equipped with both fast and slow charging devices, catering to both emergency charging and long-term stationary charging needs. Its 15 charging bays can simultaneously power multiple vehicles, accommodating various new energy passenger vehicles and providing tourists with efficient, convenient, and reliable charging services.

"With the increasing popularity of border tourism and the growing number of new energy self-driving tourists, the demand for charging in scenic areas continues to rise. Building charging stations is a key measure to improve tourism infrastructure and practice green development," said Hou Jie, Deputy General Manager of the Construction and Safety Supervision Department of China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Electric Vehicle Service Co., Ltd. He added that the station's operation is a concrete practice of promoting the integrated development of "tourism + energy," addressing the shortcomings in charging infrastructure in border scenic areas and helping Dongxing become a new benchmark for green tourism in the border region.

The charging station's operation has enhanced the service capacity and tourist experience of the border scenic area, earning praise from many tourists on site. "The equipment is very easy to operate; you can start it by scanning a code. The charging environment is clean and tidy," said Ms. Zhang, a tourist from Hubei, who was parking at a slow charging bay. She planned to charge her car while leisurely exploring the border river scenic area and experiencing the Sino-Vietnamese border culture.

It is understood that China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Power Grid Company is continuously expanding its border charging infrastructure network. In eight counties (cities, districts) including Fangcheng District and Dongxing City in Fangchenggang City, Napo County and Jingxi City in Baise City, and Daxin County, Ningming County, Longzhou County, and Pingxiang City in Chongzuo City, 201 charging stations, 616 charging piles, and one electric heavy-duty truck supercharging station have been built.
