  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the evening of February 14th, local time, the "Galloping Horse Welcomes Spring, Warmth Fills Britain" Lunar New Year Gala, hosted by the Zhejiang Association and Chamber of Commerce in the UK and co-organized by the British Chinese Financiers Association, was held at the Huangting Restaurant in London. Nearly 200 people, including overseas Chinese, representatives from Chinese and British political, business, financial, educational, and student sectors, gathered together. The festively decorated venue was filled with warmth as they celebrated the Lunar New Year, reminisced about their hometowns, and discussed new chapters of cooperation.

  Jiang Lei, Minister-Counselor and Consul General of the Chinese Embassy in the UK; Huang Ping, President of the Zhejiang Association and Chamber of Commerce in the UK; Ye Qiubo, President of the British Chinese Financiers Association; Deng Zhuting, Chairman of the London Chinatown Business Association; and Jack Perry, Chairman of the 48 Group, were among the guests present at the event. The gala dinner, themed "Galloping Horses Welcoming Spring, Warmth Filling Britain," not only expressed the aspirations for a spirit of striving forward in the new year, but also embodied the sincere vision of the overseas Chinese community in the UK to build bridges between China and the UK and deepen practical cooperation. The organizers meticulously prepared a special banquet and cultural performances, creating a grand Spring Festival celebration that blended traditional Chinese culture with British charm.

  In her speech, Huang Ping stated that the Spring Festival dinner served as an emotional bond for Zhejiang natives and overseas Chinese in the UK to celebrate the festival together and connect with their hometown, as well as a practical platform to unite the hearts and minds of overseas Chinese, gather their strength, and promote exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries. She expressed her gratitude to all those who have long cared for and supported the association's development and extended her best wishes for a prosperous and auspicious Year of the Horse.

  Ye Qiubo mentioned that the British Chinese financial community will continue to play a bridging role, deepening cooperation in areas such as Sino-British trade, finance, and innovation, injecting new momentum into the development of the Chinese community and the upgrading of Sino-British relations. Jiang Lei extended New Year greetings to all guests, fully affirming the positive role of the Zhejiang Association of the UK in promoting people-to-people exchanges and enhancing mutual understanding between China and the UK. She expressed her hope that Sino-British relations would gallop forward like a galloping horse, steadily and surely reaching new heights.

  Jack Perry expressed his expectation for deeper interaction with the Chinese community and his willingness to work together to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the UK and China.
