South Korean prosecutors have filed charges against 76 people, including Kim Gun-hee and Yoon Seok-youl.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The special prosecutor's team investigating the case of Kim Geon-hee, wife of former South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl, released its final investigation results on the 29th, indicting 76 people, including Yoon Seok-youl and his spouse Kim Geon-hee.

  At a press conference held in Seoul that day, the special prosecutor's team stated that Kim Geon-hee, abusing her position as the president's spouse, easily accepted high-value gifts and extensively intervened in various personnel matters, her actions reaching the level of "selling official positions," severely damaging South Korea's public service system.

  According to reports, the special prosecutor's team confirmed during the investigation that Kim Geon-hee is suspected of accepting money from multiple individuals, with the amount involved reaching 377.25 million won (approximately 1.8434 million yuan), including high-value paintings worth approximately 140 million won and luxury necklaces worth 103.8 million won.

  The special prosecutor's team stated that Kim Geon-hee's case involves a wide range of serious issues, including stock price manipulation of Deutsche Motors, accepting expensive brand-name goods, interference in the relocation of the presidential office and official residence, and receiving illegal political funds.

  The special prosecutor's team also stated that Yoon Seok-youl was indicted in this case for allegedly violating the Public Official Election Act and the Political Funds Act.

  According to previous reports, the Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for Kim Geon-hee on August 12th of this year, and she has been in custody ever since. On March 3rd, the special prosecutor's team requested the court to sentence Kim Geon-hee to 15 years in prison and a fine of 2 billion won (approximately 9.7728 million yuan) on charges including stock price manipulation and bribery. The verdict is reportedly scheduled for January 28th of next year. (End)
