Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to data from the Ministry of Education, the school closures affect 377 schools in Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Preah Vihear, and Pursat provinces, impacting a total of 78,585 students.
The Ministry of Education emphasized that all 260 schools in Oddar Meanchey province have been closed, while the closures in the other three provinces have only been implemented for schools located in or adjacent to the attack areas.
Ministry of Education spokesperson Ms. Khun Vichetka stated that the Ministry is closely monitoring the situation regarding the Thai military's shelling of Cambodia and is continuously working closely with school administrations, education departments in border provinces, and local governments to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all students, teachers, and educational personnel.
