The Thai military says 35,000 civilians have been evacuated from the Thai-Cambodian border.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 2nd Army Region of the Royal Thai Army issued a statement on social media on the 8th, stating that approximately 70% of civilians in the four provinces along the Thai-Cambodian border have completed their evacuation, with about 35,000 people registered at temporary shelters. Those not yet in shelters are presumed to be staying with relatives or still en route. During the evacuation, one civilian tragically died from illness.
