Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On October 31, 2025, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh met with Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Beijing, both sides agreed that under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and countries, and with the joint efforts of ministries and localities, the traditional friendship and political mutual trust between Vietnam and China, characterized by "comrades and brothers," have been continuously consolidated and strengthened, promoting the in-depth, pragmatic, and comprehensive development of bilateral relations in accordance with the "six more" direction. In 2025, high-level visits and exchanges between delegations at all levels and between the people of the two countries will be frequent.
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh reiterated that the Vietnamese Party and State have always attached great importance to consolidating and strengthening friendly and cooperative relations with the Chinese Party, State, and people; and regard developing relations with China as a top priority and strategic choice in foreign policy. Vietnam is willing to work with the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to inherit and carry forward the achievements of bilateral relations, strive to promote high-level exchanges, maintain strategic communication, and consolidate political mutual trust; coordinate the implementation of the cooperation mechanism between the two parties, promote the continuous, in-depth, pragmatic, and comprehensive development of bilateral cooperation, benefit the people of both countries, and contribute to maintaining regional and global peace, stability, and development.
Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, stated that China has always regarded Vietnam as a priority partner in its neighborhood diplomacy; the International Department is willing to work closely with the Vietnamese Embassy in China to implement the consensus reached by the high-level leaders of the two parties and countries, maintain high-level exchanges, promote inter-party cooperation, further deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam, promote the building of a strategically significant China-Vietnam community with a shared future, and contribute to the socialist construction of both countries and to human peace, stability, and common prosperity.
