Ordinary passenger car quotas will be allocated in two phases, on June 26th and December 26th, with 10,000 quotas allocated in each phase. Of the new energy passenger car quotas, 59,200 are allocated to families, 14,800 to individuals, 5,000 to organizations, and 1,000 to commercial vehicles. New energy passenger car quotas for families, individuals, and organizations will be allocated on May 26th.
The Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport announced that, taking into account factors such as traffic flow, air quality, and public demand, 80,000 additional new energy passenger vehicle license plates will be issued this year, including 60,000 for families and 20,000 for individuals.
The allocation method is as follows: After the regular allocation of 59,200 family new energy passenger vehicle license plates, the remaining plates will be allocated to the top 60,000 families based on their total points. For families with the same total points, allocation will be based on the earliest registration date of the applicant in the Beijing Passenger Vehicle Quota Management Information System, until all quotas are exhausted.
