Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On March 14th, the 2026 Beijing Spring Job Fair and the "Job Leading the Future - National City Recruitment Tour Beijing Station" event, jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and multiple departments, was held at the China International Exhibition Center. As Beijing's first large-scale job fair of the year to implement the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (NPC & CPPCC), over 480 well-known companies showcased 23,000 high-quality positions. Closely aligned with the capital's positioning as a science and technology innovation center, the event achieved precise matching across the entire chain of "experience-training-job seeking-employment," resulting in a strong supply and demand dynamic.
At the event, Beijing upgraded and released the "Beijing 'Skills Illuminate the Future' Project-Based Training Guidance Catalog (Second Batch)," covering 12 industries, 132 occupational categories, and 385 training projects. It takes into account both short-term courses in livelihood sectors such as domestic services and elderly care, and the needs of strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, incorporating 50 new occupational positions to precisely match the needs of enterprises for personnel and the skills enhancement needs of workers. Simultaneously, "Beijing Intelligence" and "Beijing Service" new occupational skill certificates were officially issued, creating a "Beijing Standard" for skills evaluation with capital characteristics.
This job fair offered several convenient services: the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau partnered with Gaode Maps to create a "Government-Enterprise Exclusive Service Map," initially launching nearly 60 employment service points. Three pilot units implemented AI-powered intelligent systems, enabling one-click processing of the entire job search process. Five provinces and municipalities (Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Shandong) were invited to participate, integrating industrial resources in northern China to meet the talent needs of the capital metropolitan area and northern regions.
For college graduates, the job fair featured a dedicated zone with over 230 central and state-owned enterprises and science and technology innovation companies offering more than 6,300 positions and internship opportunities, creating a "fast track" from campus to the workplace. Twelve new career experience zones were also set up, showcasing the prospects of popular new professions through immersive experiences. Vocational schools promoted full-time technician classes and 21 short-term training programs to help young people enhance their employment competitiveness.
Furthermore, 15 leading domestic platform companies made their first collective appearance, releasing over 1,000 new business-related positions. Science and technology service positions accounted for over 70% of the total positions, covering fields such as AI algorithms and chip design, providing ample opportunities for technology talent. Job seekers unable to attend in person can watch the live stream and submit their resumes online through official new media channels such as "Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau". (End)
