Meanwhile, northerly winds will increase, with gusts of force 7 to 8 today; the public is advised to take precautions when going out.

  Yesterday was the beginning of spring, and Beijing's temperature was quite fitting, with an afternoon high of 12.7℃, a new high for the year, giving a slight feeling of spring.

  However, with the arrival of the cold wave, Beijing's temperature will drop and winds will increase starting today. The Beijing Meteorological Observatory predicts that today will be sunny turning cloudy during the day, with northerly winds of around force 4 (gusts of force 7 to 8), and a high of 3℃; tonight will be cloudy turning overcast, with scattered light snow in the western mountainous areas, northerly winds of around force 3 (gusts of around force 5), and a low of -8℃.

  Tomorrow, Beijing's temperature will continue to drop, with a high of -2℃ and a low of -9℃.
