Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Macao SAR Government announced on November 28th that it has donated HK$30 million to the Hong Kong SAR through the Macao Foundation to support rescue and reconstruction efforts following the fire at Wang Fuk Court, a public housing estate in Tai Po, New Territories.
Macao SAR Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai, on behalf of the Macao SAR Government, once again expressed his deepest condolences to the victims of the fire and extended his sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and injured, as well as the affected residents. He also called on all sectors of Macao to take active steps to assist the Hong Kong SAR in various ways, demonstrating the deep friendship between Hong Kong and Macao.
