  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – A fire broke out in several residential buildings in Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po Estate, New Territories, Hong Kong, on the afternoon of the 26th, causing significant casualties. Macau SAR Chief Executive Cen Haohui expressed his condolences to the victims that evening.

  Cen Haohui stated that the fire had tragically claimed the lives of many Hong Kong citizens, including firefighters on duty, for which he felt deep regret and sorrow. On behalf of the Macau SAR government, he expressed his deepest condolences to the victims and their families, and extended his sincere sympathies to the injured and their families.

  Cen Haohui stated that he had contacted Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee to express his condolences, noting the close relationship between Hong Kong and Macau, like brothers, and that he felt deeply for them. He added that the Macau SAR government is willing to provide all necessary assistance if needed.
