Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Inside the Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, traditional Chinese paintings depicting Ganoderma lucidum and Dendrobium nobile thrive, while related derivative products displayed in showcases attract visitors. This is a vivid microcosm of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles' deep involvement in mountainous and island counties, employing a "three-pronged approach" of "infrastructure assistance—promoting income growth for the people—achieving spiritual enrichment" to contribute to common prosperity.
On February 24th, Zhejiang's "first meeting of the new year" issued a mobilization order for the construction of a demonstration zone for common prosperity, and the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles had already taken action. Since pairing up to assist Dailing Village, Yanzhang Township, Longquan City, Lishui in 2018, the Federation has first focused on infrastructure development: raising 1.6 million yuan to build rural roads, revitalizing an idle primary school to create the "Southwest Zhejiang Red Study Base," connecting artist studios with historical sites, constructing a cluster-style cultural tourism pattern, and opening up the "micro-circulation" of rural development.
During the stage of increasing villagers' income, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles adhered to a two-pronged approach of "blood transfusion + blood creation": investing 2.65 million yuan to support projects such as enclave economy, Chinese beekeeping, and Ganoderma lucidum cultivation, increasing village collective income by over 200,000 yuan annually and driving villagers' income growth by over 300,000 yuan; organizing nearly 50 artists annually to conduct field research in Longquan, spreading local landscapes and culture through a "village-township-county linkage" model, and cultivating over 20 local artistic talents through programs like the "New Peak Plan," recognizing the cultural and creative area as a hub for "new cultural and artistic activities," and stimulating entrepreneurial and innovative vitality.
Data confirms the results: From 2018 to 2025, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Longquan will increase from 21,249 yuan to 37,408 yuan, and the urban-rural income gap will decrease to 1.74, better than the provincial average of 1.81.
The empowering effect of spiritual enrichment is even more profound. Artists focused on Longquan's industry, ecology, and cultural heritage, creating works such as "Lingzhi Under the Forest" (a metaphor for rural revitalization), "Tibetan Monkey" (highlighting ecological sustainability), and "Ou Yezi Forging a Sword" (inheriting the spirit of craftsmanship). These works have become spiritual carriers for building cultural confidence and nurturing local flavor. Over eight years of dedicated work, the arts have continuously optimized the urban-rural structure, injecting "effective qualitative improvement" momentum into common prosperity and responding to the province's call for high-quality development.
