Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) With only about a month left until the Lunar New Year of 2026 (Year of the Horse), Ho Chi Minh City's Lunar New Year tourism products and services are experiencing strong supply and demand, with tourist numbers rising daily. Businesses are paying close attention to Lunar New Year tourism products and services, which not only helps attract more tourists but also further promotes Vietnam's tourism image.

The Vietnam Pho Museum, located in Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, is a non-public food culture museum established with the permission of the City's Department of Culture and Sports. It will officially open to the public in mid-January 2026. As Vietnam's first food culture museum, its core mission is to protect, inherit, and showcase the unique value of Vietnam's culinary cultural heritage to domestic and international tourists. Industry experts generally believe that the museum's operation will create a brand-new cultural and tourism space, injecting new vitality into the protection and promotion of Ho Chi Minh City's culinary cultural heritage.

The Pho Museum covers an area of approximately 800 square meters and has three floors of experiential areas. It adopts a closed-door visiting model, with a single visit lasting approximately 60 to 75 minutes.

Concurrently, to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse, the Bát Tràng ceramics space in Dyen Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, recently added a tea ceremony experience area and simultaneously showcased and promoted several new ceramic product series. In addition to static displays, the space also offers interactive experiences and shopping activities, contributing to the dissemination of the value of traditional handicrafts and deeply integrating into Ho Chi Minh City's urban tourism development landscape.

Against this backdrop, many tourism enterprises are actively preparing for the Lunar New Year market, launching special products to meet tourist needs. Among them, Vietluxtour expects to receive six foreign tourist groups in January, offering a dedicated "Foreigners Spending the Lunar New Year in Western Vietnam" themed tour. Meanwhile, the company's "Cultural Experience – Tan Dinh Imprint," a special product launched in cooperation with the Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee, has gained widespread market and tourist recognition.

Le Truong Hien Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, stated that ensuring and improving the quality of tourism products and services is one of the core priorities for the city's tourism industry in 2026. To achieve this goal, the tourism sector will adopt a two-pronged approach: on the one hand, focusing on new product development; and on the other hand, increasing promotional efforts in key markets to continuously attract domestic and international tourists.

Leveraging its increasingly diverse cultural and tourism product system, especially its unique cultural and culinary offerings, Ho Chi Minh City is capitalizing on its local resources to further solidify its position as an international tourism center and become a highly attractive tourist destination during the 2026 Lunar New Year.
