Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Reporters learned on January 26 from the Lanzhou Railway Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that the national railway's first-quarter train schedule for 2026 officially took effect at midnight on January 26. A new benchmark high-speed train service between Yinchuan, Ningxia and Beijing North has commenced, reducing the travel time between the two cities to 6 hours and 22 minutes, achieving a "half-day round trip."

It is understood that the newly launched Yinchuan-Beijing North benchmark high-speed train service reduces travel time by approximately one hour compared to the Yinchuan-Lanzhou, Yinchuan-Xi'an, Xuzhou-Lanzhou, and Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail lines.

Simultaneously, this schedule adjustment also marks the first time a high-speed train service has been launched between Yinchuan and Datong South Station, taking only about 5 hours and 30 minutes. This establishes a high-speed and convenient channel connecting Ningxia with northern Shanxi, western Hebei, and southern Inner Mongolia, building a more convenient bridge for personnel exchanges and economic cooperation between the regions.

After the timetable adjustment, Yinchuan Railway Station will operate a total of 103 pairs of trains, including 87 pairs of high-speed trains and 16 pairs of regular trains, providing passengers with more diverse and convenient travel options.

Furthermore, this timetable adjustment will further strengthen connections between Northwest China and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The fastest travel times from Hohhot to Yinchuan, Lanzhou West, and Xining will be 3 hours 34 minutes, 6 hours 27 minutes, and 7 hours 45 minutes respectively. The fastest travel times from Wuhai and Bayannur to Beijing will be 5 hours 07 minutes and 4 hours 20 minutes respectively, reducing travel time by 10 hours 35 minutes and 8 hours 31 minutes compared to regular trains.
